Malouf™ Adds New Team Member to International Sales Team
LOGAN, Utah—As part of their global expansion strategy, Malouf Home™ has added Freddy Ortiz as another key player to their international sales team. In his role, Ortiz is responsible for developing and implementing international sales initiatives and focuses specifically on Latin America countries.
Ortiz has been with Malouf™ for almost three years. Prior to his current position, he was an inbound sales representative for the U.S. West District, and he also worked in the customer experience department. He has a strong background in sales and customer relations and speaks fluent Spanish.
"Freddy is passionate and has a lot of experience with the inner workings of the company and our product assortment,” said VP of International Sales Jeff Holmstead. “During his time here, he has built strong connections with customers and makes sure they have all of the right tools for success.”
Malouf™ continues to work with strategic partners to promote greater international growth. In Latin America alone, the company has increased their footprint by over 30 percent in the last year. They’re now in 20 Latin America countries, which makes up about 36 percent of their international operations.
A key focus for their international sales team has been to adapt the company’s current product assortment for various customer bases. Malouf™ is seeing great success with their pillows and other top-of-bed accessories, and they will continue to curate this assortment for existing and new accounts.
