"The Malouf works well for night time accidents, but it would be nice if the protection was also on the sides. Once the wetness has spread to the edge of the protector it then can and does seep onto the mattress. So unless one wakes up almost immediately, you can still have some issue with a wet mattress."
"I bought this mattress protector to protect my very expressive mattress since if the mattress has any stains, it cannot be repaired. This company claims they have a 15 year warranty and that nothing will get through it. If it does they will be responsible for your mattress if their protector does not work. I attempted to use their warranty and they claim their defective mattress protector is damaged. I bought this 3 years ago, placed it on my bed and left it there. The only time it was removed and put through a dryer (which is what they are claiming caused the damage) was when I cleaned it to have it sent back to them for review. Washed in cool water and then dried on a cool dryer setting. Their backing is falling apart and they claimed I damaged it. The only "wear and tear" on it is my husband and myself sleeping on it. It can't even handle sleeping. They will claim whatever just so they don't have to uphold their warranty. Do not buy if you are getting it for their claimed warranty and plan to actually use it."

"This is our second time purchasing this brand of mattress cover. We obviously liked it enough to purchase it a second time. It truly is waterproof, and comfortable to sleep on. Our mattress still looks as new as when we bought it. The downside is it only lasted 7 years before the waterproof layer started crumbling. We were surprised and disappointed, especially since we only washed it once every couple of months. Our first was a cooling cover, which was just a little too cold for me. We are trying out this one. So far it is hot."
