What is the best type of mattress for me?

This is dependent on preference. It is important to note that a mattress feel isn't limited to these two categories. There are a variety of options available to you based on your sleep style and personal preference. Typically, side sleepers or those with back pain opt for a more plush option, while those who sleep on their back or stomach will prefer a firmer mattress.
What is a hybrid mattress?

A hybrid mattress combines the benefit of innerspring coils with multiple layers of foams to satisfy a variety of sleep styles and preferences. They offer better support and can relieve pressure points in the hips, back, and shoulders.
How long will my mattress last?

Mattresses typically last between 7-10 years, however, there are many variables that influence the longevity of your mattress. We recommend using a mattress protector to help extend the life of your mattress.
Will my mattress work with an adjustable bed base?

Yes. All Malouf mattresses are made to be compatible with an adjustable bed base for optimal comfort. They work with any flat foundation without the need for a box spring. Simply place your base directly on an adjustable base, flat frame, or upholstered platform base.  
How does your 100-night sleep trial work?

When initiating a return for a Malouf mattress or adjustable bed frame, there are a few important guidelines to keep in mind. First, all requests must be submitted within 100 days of delivery. But, before initiating a return, we ask that you sleep on it for at least 30 days so you can adjust to the new mattress or frame. If, after this period, you are still not satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return here.
Will my mattress come in a box?

Yes. All Malouf mattresses are compressed and rolled in a box, making them easy to transport to your bedroom upon delivery. Setup is easy—all you need to do is open your mattress and let it decompress for 24 hours before sleeping on it.
What does the mattress warranty cover?

The mattress warranty covers any defects in materials or craftsmanship. The following exceptions will void the warranty: wear and tear; stained or soiled product; misuse or improper maintenance; alteration or repair by unauthorized representatives; or damage resulting from transit, handling, use, accident, or otherwise. How long is mattress coverage?

Mattresses are covered for 10 years under the Guardsman Protection Plan.
Do I need a mattress protector for the protection plan to apply?

No. Unlike our manufacturer warranty, the Guardsman Protection Plan does not require a mattress protector for coverage.
What does the mattress protection plan cover?

The plan covers accidental household damage including stains, rips, cuts, punctures, and burns. These incidents must be caused by an accident or sudden event.

"Goldielocks" of Mattresses

"I'm a 50-year-old female with a back injury. Beds have always been either too soft or too hard. This bed was recommended to me by a business owner in the trades field. I tried it, and it was the "Goldilocks" bed for me. I am finally getting actual sleep after all these years of constant moving around all night long. I recommend this bed for all you fussy sleepers! To protect this investment, I purchased a waterproof cover that encloses the entire mattress, like at hotels. "When I say I've had the BEST NIGHTS SLEEP EVER! I mean it! This Polaris CoolSync mattress is by far my best purchase all year! It's so durable and the support is great on my back. "Mattress was nicely packaged in a box and wrapped well in plastic. It was very easy to remove from the plastic and it expanded quickly. It wasn't wrapped in a way that could potentially harm you once you tear/cut the plastic like some vacuum sealed mattresses. You can immediately feel the cooling sensation on the top of the mattress. After 24 hours it expanded to 11 inches. It's a good mix of soft and firm. There was no weird smell and even with the sheets on the mattress you can feel the coolness. It's very comfortable and will be enjoyed for many years to come."
