What does pillow loft mean?

Pillow loft refers to pillow thickness. Loft plays a vital role in aligning your neck and spine. Generally speaking, stomach sleepers benefit from a lower loft, side sleepers benefit from mid-high, and back sleepers can benefit from any of the three.

"I have been using a cool gel filled pillow from Malouf for while and love it. When I needed to replace it I opted for the +hyper chill pillow. I love the shape (shoulder sleeper) and the firmness/thickness of pillow however it lacks in the cool dept. Great for Frozen Shoulder

"Of course! Here’s a polished version of your review: I always sleep on my left side, but I didn’t realize how consistent this habit was until I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. I already had a regular Malouf pillow that both my wife and I liked a lot. However, now when I tried to sleep on my left side, my shoulder would hurt.
